WHAT WE BELIEVE

Compass Community Church is a friendly, come-as-you-are, non-denominational church. We are grounded on the conviction that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God. It reveals the Triune God and His will for humanity. The centerpiece of all Scripture is Jesus Christ. He is the perfect mediator, the only solution to, and sacrifice for the sin that would otherwise separate us from God. A more detailed outline of our beliefs can be found below in our "Statement of Faith".

DOES GOD CARE HOW YOU VOTE?

In 1 Timothy 2:1-4, Paul instructs Timothy as follows: "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." If our prayers for our leaders is one of God's top priorities, and if it is meant to produce peace that leads to a knowledge of the truth, then we must recognize that our right to vote is an important stewardship responsibility?! Let us all be sure to exercise that stewardship wisely. To help you, the Elder Board suggests you check out the resources found at the following link: www.biblicalvoter.com
