Compass is open this Sunday at 9:00am

We are meeting outside in a shaded area and will be singing praises to our Lord.

For those joining us in-person, we invite you to bring your camping chairs out on the back patio for our Sunday morning worship service.  Seating is first come, first serve but don’t worry, there is enough space for proper social distancing.

If you prefer, you may still sit inside and watch on the large screen

deacons for assistance when you arrive.

REOPENING CHURCH SAFELY – GUIDELINES FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY

Physical distancing

First and most important, don’t come if you are sick! If you have any symptoms of

any kind, or if you live or work with someone who is sick, love your neighbor by

joining our online church. When you arrive, please park your car with one empty

space from the next car. Compass is a very close family, but for now, please don’t

hug, handshake, or touch one-another. Remember to diligently observe a minimum

of six feet distance from anyone but your family. We will ask everyone to sanitize

their hands before entering the main front doors. The rear doors by the kitchen will

be locked as will the bathrooms in that area. It would be great if you brought your

own sanitizer. All drinking fountains are turned off, so bring your own water bottle if

you think you’ll need it. For now, we can’t eat on the premises.

High Risk Groups

If you are a member of a “high risk” group, you may want to continue watching

online. Those in high risk groups include people 65 years of age or older, those with

heart or lung diseases, diabetes, respiratory problems, serious allergies, asthma, or

other underlying health problems. If you fall within any of these categories you are

welcome to join us, but we will fully support your decision to continue viewing online

if you prefer

.

Kids and Children’s Church

Unfortunately,  kids of all ages must stay with parents and may not mingle or play together.

Fortunately, we have several tables set up in the back of the sanctuary with games and activities for all ages. These tables are for families only. We will be keeping the service shorter, and the sermons

will be more family friendly – geared to all ages. The Children’s director will have a

special message for the kids.

Face coverings are required inside

The State has recently required face coverings inside  public places.

Seating

For those joining us in-person, we invite you to bring your camping chairs out on the back patio for our Sunday morning worship service.  Seating is first come, first serve but don’t worry, there is enough space for proper social distancing.

If you prefer, you may still sit inside and watch on the large screen.

Offering and donations

We won’t be passing the offering basket for some time. If you haven’t yet given

online before, we urge you to consider it. Click on the "GIVE" menu above for safe and easy giving.

If you prefer to give inperson, we will have donation baskets by the doors of the main lobby. Like you,

we’ve been forced to make numerous, and deep financial cuts. If you can give, please do.

We know this is inconvenient, but we also know in a family-church like ours, we all

want to do our part to protect the health of our neighbor. Thanks for cooperating with us.

See you soon.
